MG Motors Introduces Storm Series for Gloster SUV in Indian Market

Pune, 4th June 2024: British automaker MG Motors has unveiled the latest iteration of its full-size SUV, Gloster, in the Indian market under the Storm Series. The new MG Gloster STORM series boasts a meticulously crafted design, exuding a grand and assertive appearance. Drawing inspiration from the MG Gloster DESERT STORM, it features a Deep Golden exterior, while the SNOWSTORM variant offers a striking dual-tone Pearl White and Black exterior. MG Motors CEO Satinder Singh Bajwa emphasized Gloster’s popularity among Indian SUV enthusiasts, attributing it to the vehicle’s premium features, spacious design, and unparalleled comfort. Bajwa expressed delight in announcing the launch of the new Gloster Desert Storm and Snow Storm variants, highlighting the company’s commitment to delivering an exceptional and distinctive driving experience.

Powered by a robust two-liter diesel engine with twin turbo, the Gloster Storm Series delivers a formidable 158.5 kilowatts of power. Additionally, it boasts seven driving modes and an advanced all-terrain system, ensuring superior performance across diverse landscapes. MG has equipped both variants with a range of impressive features, including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), a dual panoramic sunroof, a 12-way power-adjustable driver seat with massage and ventilation functions, wireless charging, and 4WD/2WD capabilities. The DESERTSTORM variant offers the flexibility of six or seven seats, whereas the SNOWSTORM variant comes exclusively with seven seats. The SNOWSTORM variant stands out with its dual-tone exterior and red and white interior inserts, while the DESERTSTORM variant features a Deep Golden exterior complemented by dark interior colors.

The Gloster Storm Series is available in two variants, with an ex-showroom price starting at Rs 38.80 lakh and both variants priced at Rs 41.04 lakh. This launch reaffirms MG Motors’ dedication to delivering premium and bold vehicles that cater to the evolving needs of Indian consumers.
