MHADA to Hold E-Auction for Commercial Units; Unsold Flats to Be Allocated on First-Come, First-Served Basis

Pune, 19th June 2025: The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) will conduct an e-auction of 52 commercial shops and 28 office units across Pune, Solapur, Sangli, Satara, and Kolhapur districts. Interested individuals may apply through the official websites www.eauction.mhada.gov.in and www.mhada.gov.in, according to Rahul Sakore, Chief Officer of MHADA’s Pune Board.

In addition to the auction, unsold residential flats under the 15% Social Housing Scheme and 20% Inclusive Housing Scheme—left unclaimed after the previous lottery rounds—will now be offered to eligible general-category applicants on a first-come, first-served basis.

Transparent Digital Allocation Process
To ensure transparency, MHADA has initiated a fully online application and registration process via https://bookmyhome.mhada.gov.in. As flats become available, they will be allotted to eligible applicants in real time.

Applicants will receive their digitally signed allotment letters through their registered login accounts, eliminating the need for in-person visits or paperwork.

Affordable Housing Under PMAY-U
MHADA Pune also plans to implement affordable housing projects under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana–Urban (PMAY-U). Interested applicants are required to register in advance on the government’s unified portal: https://pmaymis.gov.in.

Rahul Sakore emphasized that this initiative aims to provide affordable homes to economically weaker sections, while maintaining complete digital transparency in the allocation process.

“Our goal is to make housing access easier, fair, and faster for all eligible citizens through a reliable and transparent online system,” said Sakore.
