Minimum 60% Marks Required In 10th To Apply For CBSE’S Single Girl Child Scholarship; Check Last Date To Apply Here
New Delhi, 17th November 2022: Under CBSE’s Single Girls Child Scholarship, girls who have secured 60% or more marks in class 10th examination from the CBSE board and will be studying in class 11th or 12th in a CBSE affiliated school and whose tuition is more than 1,500 per month during the academic year, are eligible for the scholarship.
To renew the scholarship, it is necessary to have 50 percent or more marks in class 11th. The objective of this scheme is to recognize the efforts of parents to promote education among girls and provide encouragement to meritorious students.
The application is available on the CBSE website cbse.nic.in. The last date to apply is November 30.
Through this scholarship, a single girl child will get Rs 500 per month for two years (during the 11th and 12th).
