Ministry of Defence Launches Nationwide Digital Life Certificate Campaign 4.0 for SPARSH Pensioners
Pune, 31st October 2025: The Ministry of Defence has launched the nationwide Digital Life Certificate Campaign 4.0 from November 1 to November 30, 2025, to facilitate real-time life certificate submission for SPARSH pensioners. The initiative is being carried out through more than 400 departmental service centers and over 4.5 lakh Common Service Centers across the country.
Under the guidance of the Controller General of Defence Accounts (CGDA), New Delhi, the Office of the Principal Controller of Defence Accounts (Southern Command), Pune, has rolled out the campaign for defence pensioners and their families residing in Pune and nearby areas.
Identification of Aadhaar-linked SPARSH pensioners will be done in real time through the Jeevan Pramaan digital system. Pensioners whose Aadhaar is not yet linked will also be assisted in linking and updating their Aadhaar with their SPARSH Pension Payment Order (PPO).
The SPARSH Service Centre at PCDA (Southern Command) has made special arrangements for super senior pensioners (aged 80 years and above), family pensioners, and disabled pensioners to ensure smooth facilitation.
C. Zothankhuma, IDAS, Principal Controller of Defence Accounts (Southern Command), has appealed to all defence pensioners to actively participate and make the campaign a grand success.
