Mithun Kumar Issues Notice To Netflix Regarding “Offensive” Comment On Actress Madhuri Dixit On Big Bang Theory
Mumbai, 28th March 2023: Political analyst Mithun Vijay Kumar has accused the popular American show Big Bang Theory of making an “offensive and hurtful” statement about actress Madhuri Dixit. Mithun Vijay Kumar has issued a notice to Netflix and has also demanded that Netflix delete the episode.
In the first episode of the second season, Jim Parsons, playing Sheldon Cooper, compares Madhuri Dixit and Aishwarya Rai. Mithun Vijay Kumar has alleged that he uttered a sentence about Dixit which is offensive. Mithun Vijay Kumar has also made a tweet about this.
Kumar wrote in his tweet, “A few days ago, I watched an episode of Big Bang Theory on Netflix. In this, an actor uses offensive and insulting words while talking about veteran actress Madhuri Dixit. I have been a fan of Madhuri Dixit since childhood. So I felt sad to hear that comment in Big Bang Theory. I felt insulted on behalf of Indian culture and women. That’s why I sent Netflix a legal notice through my lawyer. I have also requested Netflix to remove this episode. The matter is expected to be taken seriously.”
