Pune Mobile Shop Heist: Rs. 30 Lakh Worth of Phones Stolen from Katraj-Satara Road Store

Sahakar Nagar, 25th July 2024: The theft of mobile phones worth 30 lakh rupees occurred on Tuesday night (23rd July) after the shutters were pulled down at a mobile shop on Katraj-Satara Road in Pune. Manoj Zhanwar (R. Katraj) filed a complaint at Sahakar Nagar Police Station.

According to the police, between 10:00 PM on 23rd July and 6:00 AM on 24th July, an unknown individual broke into Shriram Communications, a mobile shop next to the Chavan Nagar Arch on Satara Road, and stole a total of 95 mobile phones valued at Rs. 29,64,596. The accused fled with the stolen phones, and the city police are currently investigating. Sub-Inspector of Police Yuvraj Potre is leading the investigation.
