MLC Yogesh Tilekar’s Uncle Found Murdered After Daylight Kidnapping in Pune

Hadapsar, 9th December 2024: In a tragic turn of events, Satish Satba Wagh, the 58-year-old maternal uncle of MLC Yogesh Tilekar, was found murdered hours after being abducted in broad daylight on Monday morning at Fursungi Phata in the Hadapsar area.
Wagh, a resident of Fursungi on the Saswad-Pune Road, had gone for his routine morning walk around 6:30 am when he was accosted by four to five men in a car. The group allegedly threatened him before forcibly taking him away. Witnesses at the scene reported the abduction to authorities, leading to a police investigation.
DCP (Zone 5) R Raja confirmed that Wagh’s body was discovered in the jurisdiction of Yavat Police Station. “Police teams are conducting further procedures and working diligently to trace the unknown suspects. Additional details will be shared as they become available,” he stated.
Investigators are probing potential motives for the crime, including financial disputes or personal enmity. Senior Police Inspector Santosh Pandhare of Hadapsar Police Station and teams from Crime Branch units are working to identify and apprehend the perpetrators.
