Pune: Zaveri – Karmarkar pair wins women’s event at the Ashok Ruia Memorial Winter National Bridge Tournament
Pune, 9th December 2024: Pair of Aditi Zaveri and Marianne Karmarkar won the women’s title with 79.34pts at The prestigious Ashok Ruia Memorial Winter National Bridge Tournament, organized by the Pune Region Bridge Association, which is currently underway.
Vasanti Shah & Gopika Tandan finished second with 63.01 pts while The pair of. Alka Kshirsagar & Bharati Dey finished third with 44.46pts at the event, sanctioned by the Bridge Federation of India (BFI) and the Maharashtra Bridge Association (MBA),
The tournament has drawn top bridge players from across the country and will feature events in. mixed pairs, senior team events, and the highly anticipated match-point pairs event.
The prizes of the women’s events were given away by Mr. Anand Samant (Senior Vice President, BFI) and Mr. Debashish Ray, Secretary of BFI.
