Money transfer businessman shot dead in Rahatani
Pimpri – A 44-year-old businessman was shot dead in Rahatani on Monday midnight and Rs two lakh cash robbed from him.
The deceased has been identified as Anil Raghunath Dhotre, a resident of Prabhat Colony in Rahatani.
According to police, Dhotre runs a Jyoti Tours and Travels and money transfer business at Pachpir chowk in Kalewadi. After closing he was returning home when two-bike borne assailants shot at him and snatched away bag containing Rs 1.96 lakhs. Local residents rushed him to a hospital in Thergaon, but he was declared dead on arrival.
