Pune, 25th Feb 2019:  Monk’s & Blue’s an exclusive European and Italian cuisine restaurant, today opened its doors to Puneites at Baner.  Bollywood beauty Actor Chitrangada Singh was the Guest of Honor at the launch amongst other dignitaries.

Monk’s & Blue’s restaurant is a brainchild of Pratim Gujjar and Afreen Khan who have done up this place from scratch and conceptualized the entire theme and interiors.  What is so special about this place is that they are perhaps the only restaurant in Maharashtra which serves something exclusively called as Steak’s on Stone.  There is a special Hot stone which they have ordered from the Himalayas where you are offered an experience to cook your meat on this Hot Stone.

The restaurant serves a wide variety of meat, fish and vegetables which can be cooked on the rock.   So if you prefer non-vegetarian you have the option of cooking your meat either well done, medium, or rare.  It also makes up for a great place to have a group party where there can be lots of conversations etc over this new concept of doing up your meat at a restaurant.

Monk’s & Blue’s is open for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and this 75 seater restaurant has an air-conditioned section inside and also a lovely open to the sky venue outside which is just great during evenings.  The casual dining bar serves European and Italian cuisine and have some great deals for mocktails and cocktails.

Speaking at the launch, Bollywood Celebrity Chitrangada Singh said, “It gives me immense pleasure to launch this place where I can see a couple who have done up this place with a lot of passion, love and commitment.  This is a great concoction to start any venture and you can never go wrong if you so much dedication and efforts in it.”

Also present at the launch were lots of stars from the small screen like Alok Narula, Gavie Chahal, Vipul Gupta, Nibedita Pal, Pari Sahni, Mukul Harish and Jignesh joshi.
