Moshi: 15 Persons Fined Rs 500 For Not Wearing Mask

Moshi, February 21, 2021: Commissioner Rajesh Patil has appealed to the citizens to wear masks and not to spit on the streets. After that Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar called a meeting of all field officers and medical officers on Saturday 20th February and directed them to take punitive action against the citizens violating the order.
Medical Officer Dr Anil Rai had also given similar instructions to the Health Department.
A team comprising Assistant Commissioner and Regional Officer Anna Bodde, Chief Health Inspector Vijay Dawale, Health Inspectors Sachin Jadhav, Vaibhav Kanchanagoudar, and Rajesh Chatole along with the staff of Bhosari MIDC Police Station inspected the premises of the Agricultural Produce Market Committee at Moshi on Sunday 21st February. Fifteen citizens who were found violating the guideline by not wearing masks were fined Rs 500 each.
