MP – Over 4 crore 47 lakh photo voter slips and over one crore 16 lakh voter guide distributed

According to the directives of the Election Commission of India, photo voter slips have been distributed to 4 crore 47 lakh 43 thousand 179 voters of one crore 25 lakh families by visiting their houses through BLO (Block Level Officer) before the polling. Along with this, one crore 16 lakh 3 thousand 791 voter guides have also been distributed.
In order to generate awareness among the voters and to apprise them well with the election process, detail information about how to cast votes, what approved documents are required for polling has been given in the voter guide. Along with this, a process to use E.V.M. and VVPAT for casting votes has also been given in the guide. Information regarding ‘what to do’ and ‘what not to do’ near polling centre and during voting has been given for voters.
