MPSC Students To Protest In Pune From Tomorrow Again Until Demands Met

Pune, 28th February 2023: Students of Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) protested to demand the implementation of the new syllabus of the state services exam from 2025. That demand has just been accepted. But again, in Pune, the students of MPSC have called a protest.

Students will again hit the streets from tomorrow to demand that the MPSC Technical Department exam pattern be implemented from 2025 onwards. Students from all over the state will come to Pune tomorrow. Police security is being deployed in the background.

These students are going to sit on a hunger strike tomorrow at Balgandharva Chowk in Pune. The students have warned the Maharashtra Public Service Commission and the government that the administration is deliberately disturbing them and that they will continue the hunger strike until the demands are met.

What major changes have been made to the MPSC syllabus?

• The MPSC exam will be descriptive and will have a total of nine papers.

• Language paper one (Marathi) and language paper two (English) will be 300 marks each, while Marathi or English Medium Essay, General Studies I, General Studies II, General Studies III, General Studies lV, Optional Subject Paper No l, Optional Subject Paper No ll, will be for 250 marks each.

• Apart from this, there will be 275 marks for the interview. So the total mark will be 2,025.

• For General Studies I, General Studies II, and General Studies III papers, the syllabus will include international, national, and state-related subjects. The General Studies IV paper will be on ethics, character, and aptitude.

• Candidates can choose one optional subject from 24 subjects.
