Mulshi: Pune- Kolad Highway Traffic Closed For 24 Hours Near Gonwadi Village Due To Bridge Collapse

Pune, 27th July 2021: Stone bridge collapsed two days ago near Gonwadi on the Pune-Kolad Highway.
Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation(MSRDC) & Roadway Solutions Indian Private Limited (RSIPL) technicians and engineers have been working for the last 48 hours.
They are creating an alternative diversion to the stone bridge. They are planning to solve the problem as quickly as possible. But due to the continuous rain and complicated nature of the work, it’s taking time. It will take another 24 hours to complete the work.
Mulshi Tehsildar Abhay Chavan said that people are advised not to travel on this route. This road will be closed for another 24 hours especially for heavy vehicles.
