Mumbai-Pune Deccan Express Cancelled on October 11 Due to Pune Yard Block
Pune/Mumbai, 9th October 2026: Both services of the Deccan Express between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), Mumbai, and Pune will remain cancelled on Sunday, October 11, due to infrastructure work at Pune Yard.
Train No. 11007 CSMT Mumbai–Pune Deccan Express and Train No. 11008 Pune–CSMT Mumbai Deccan Express will be cancelled for the day, affecting passengers travelling between the two cities.
The cancellations are part of additional changes announced by Central Railway’s Pune Division in connection with a traffic and power block for the replacement of DDS Point Nos. 253 (II & III) and 254 (I & II) on the Down Miraj Main Line in Pune Yard.
The work is scheduled to take place on October 11 as part of infrastructure upgrades at Pune Yard.
