Mumbai-Pune Expressway corridor to be closed for two hours on Wednesday

Pune, October 8,2019: If you are planning to travel from Mumbai to Pune via the Mumbai-Pune Expressway on Wednesday, then there is an important news for you.

The Mumbai to Pune corridor of the Expressway will be closed for traffic movement for two hours between 12 noon and 2 pm on Wednesday.

The heavy vehicles will stopped near Kusgaon toll plaza and Khalapur during the closure period, while light vehicles and cars will be diverted from Kusgaon toll plaza towards old Mumbai-Pune highway.

According to Highway Safety Patrol (HSP) police, the closure is required as the Maharshtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) will undertake overhead gantry construction work.

Highway police have appealed people to plan their travel keeping two hours closure of the Expressway corridor in mind to avoid any inconvenience.
