Mumbai-Pune Expressway Traffic Block Tomorrow, 8th November, For Construction Of Gantry Block

Pune, 7th November 2023: In a significant development, the construction of gantry blocks under the Highway Traffic Management System on the Yashwantrao Chavan Mumbai-Pune Expressway at Dheku Village (Km 37/00) is currently underway. Managed by the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC), the construction is set to be completed on November 8th, from 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm.

The Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation has issued a notice, stating that during the aforementioned period, traffic traveling from Pune to Mumbai and vice versa will be temporarily halted. Specifically, the closure will be in effect from 2:30 pm to 3:00 pm.

Following the completion of the construction work, normal traffic flow from Pune to Mumbai will resume at 2:30 pm, and traffic from Mumbai to Pune will resume at 3:00 pm. This temporary disruption is part of the Corporation’s ongoing efforts to enhance the infrastructure and traffic management system on the expressway.

Residents and commuters are advised to plan their journeys accordingly, taking into account the temporary closure during the specified timeframe.
