Mundhe, Pahwa in line for double crown at 19th Ramesh Desai Memorial under 16 Junior Tennis Nationals

Kolhapur, May 25, 2024: Parthasarthi Mundhe of Maharashtra amd Tavish Pahwa of Haryana placed themselves in line for a double crown reaching the Girls and the Boys finals at the 19th Ramesh Desai Memorial Nationals Junior Tennis Championships sponsored by DYPatil Institute and organized by Maharashtra State Lawn Tennis Association (MSLTA) and the Kolhapur District Lawn tennis Association KDLTA and played at the KDLTA Tennis complex in Kolhapur

In the boys section Tavish Pahwa of Haryana who won the doubles title , entered the Boys finals registering a 6-0,6-2 win over qualifier Shivtej Shirfule of Maharashtra , Pahwa will take on statemate and top seeded Prateek Sheoran who won after third seeded Hruthik Katakam of Telangana conceded at 5-7, 5-2 due to injury .

In the Girls semifinals tenth seeded Parthsarthi Mundhe of Maharashtra who won the girls doubles title reached the finals toppling sixth seeded Swasti Singh of Haryana 6-3, 6-0 , whe will take on third seeded Ranjhana Sangram of Punjab who stopped the giantkilling run of unseeded Swanika Roy of Maharashtra 6-1, 6-0 to enter the finals .
