Pune, 5th February 2026: Mystic Bamboo Foundation recently organised the Mystic Bamboo Festival at Shakuntala Jagannath Shetty auditorium Erandwane. The evening opened with Dr. Vilina Patra, who commenced her recital with the serene and evocative Raag Madhuvanti, setting a contemplative mood. She then presented the soulful Thumri “Shyam Bhai Ghanshyam…” marked by expressive nuance and emotional depth, before gracefully concluding her performance with the lilting phrases of Raag Mishra Pahadi, leaving the audience deeply moved.

The second session featured a senior disciple of Padma Vibhushan Shri. Hariprasad Chaurasia ji, Shri.Himanshu Nanda, a promising and accomplished flautist of the younger generation, known for his refined technique and melodic sensitivity. He began his recital with Raag Saraswati, unfolding its contemplative character with clarity and balance, and captivating listeners through his creative improvisation and tonal purity.

The concert culminated in an engaging Trio Jugalbandi in Raag Hamsadhwani, bringing together Flute, Pakhawaj, and Tabla, where rhythmic vitality and melodic dialogue blended seamlessly, offering a vibrant and celebratory conclusion to the evening. The event is hosted by Dhananjay Deshpande & Vote of Thanks graciously offered by Mystic Bamboo Foundation Director Rahul Salegaonkar.
