Narayangaon, 18th July 2021: The newly constructed bypass roads at Narayangaon and Khed ghat will help to uninterrupted journey on Pune-Nashik National Highway.

Due to traffic jams and frequent accidents, the demand for bypasses for highways in the concerned area has been high for many years. In this regard, MP Amol Kolhe had held regular meetings with Union Roads and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari. There was also constant correspondence with the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for follow-up.

Accordingly, a 4.4 km-long bypass road has been constructed in Khed Ghat and 4.9 km in Narayangaon.

Kolhe said, “I am glad the road is finally open to traffic. We are satisfied with the success of the collective efforts of all the people’s representatives. These bypass roads will enable safe transportation for all, including locals.”

While sharing photos of the bypass roads few days ago, Gadkari had tweeted, “The Narayangaon, Pune bypass will ease travel between Pune and Nashik. Agricultural products would reach Mumbai-Pune Market easily.”
