National Testing Agency Initiates NEET UG 2024 Application Process

New Delhi, 11th February 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially launched the application process for the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG 2024). Alongside the commencement of the application process, the NTA has unveiled crucial information in the form of a detailed bulletin, syllabus, exam pattern, and other pertinent details pertaining to the Medical Entrance Test.

Online applications for the NEET UG exam will be accepted until March 9, 2024. Interested candidates can submit their applications on the official website: [NEET UG 2024 Application Portal](https://neet.ntaonline.in/frontend/web/site/login). Following the application deadline, a correction window will be provided for candidates to make necessary amendments to their submitted exam forms.

The NEET UG 2024 examination is scheduled to take place on May 5, with the results anticipated to be released on June 14. Noteworthy is the fact that there has been no change in the examination fee structure for NEET UG this time. General/NRI candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 1,700, while EWS/OBC-NCL candidates will be charged Rs. 1,600. For SC/ST/PWD/Transgender candidates, the examination fee stands at Rs. 1,000.

In a notable development, the total number of exam cities across India has increased from 499 to 554 compared to the previous year. Candidates now have the flexibility to choose any four cities of their preference for the NEET UG 2024 examination, providing them with greater convenience and accessibility.
