NCP Leader Jayant Patil Meets Amit Shah In Pune, Likely To Join Ajit Pawar Faction: Reports

Pune 6th July 2023: Amid talks about Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Jayant Patil joining Ajit Pawar faction, the reports claimed that he met Union Home Minister and senior BJP leader Amit Shah during his visit to Pune today. According to reports, the meeting was arranged by Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar at the JW Marriott Hotel in the city.

Jayant Patil who is also state president of the party was among the few leaders who remained with party chief Sharad Pawar when Ajit Pawar decided to join the state government in Maharashtra with around 40 MLAs. According to reports, along with Sharad Pawar few more MLAs of the party including Prajakt Tanpure and Suman Patil are likely to join Ajit Pawar faction. Jayant Patil is also likely to be included in the state cabinet as the cabinet expansion is likely to happen soon.
