NCP MLA Anna Bansode’s Son Arrested In Attempt To Murder Case

Pimpri-Chinchwad, May 27, 2021: Siddharth Bansode, son of NCP MLA Anna Bansode from Pimpri, has been arrested by the police. Nigdi police arrested him along with his aides Satish Landage, Savankumar Saladallu, and Rohit Pandhari in Ratnagiri.

 

According to police, Bansode was absconding in connection with the two fatal attacks and has been arrested along with other aides from Ratnagiri. After being tipped off about the accused’s whereabouts, two squads of police went to the spot to bust the accused. Nine people have been arrested so far in the case.

 

MLA Anna Bansode was shot at on May 12 at his office. Tanaji Pawar, who was accused of firing in the case, was arrested. Meanwhile, a few hours later, Pawar lodged a complaint with police against Anna Bansode’s son Siddharth Bansode and 21 others. Accordingly, an attempt to murder case was filed.

 

A day before the firing, it was alleged that Siddharth Bansode had gone to Hedgewar Bhavan in Nigdi with a mob and beaten up the workers to get the information about Pawar’s location. Siddharth was absconding in both cases. He has finally been arrested by the Nigdi police.
