New Delhi, 21st June 2021: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) president Sharad Pawar is working on to build a coalition of opposition parties across the country. It is being said that Pawar is making a strategy to bring the opposition together before the 2024 elections. A meeting has been scheduled for 4 pm on Tuesday after discussions with election strategist Prashant Kishor.

For the first time in this pandemic, opposition leaders will attend a joint meeting instead of a video conference. The leaders of 15 parties are expected to attend the meeting through ‘Rashtra Manch’.

Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejaswi Yadav has also been invited to the meeting.

However, it must be noted that congress party officials are not invited to this meeting.

Pawar will be participating in the Rashtra Manch meeting for the first time. The foundation stone of Rashtra Manch was laid in 2018 by Yashwant Sinha. At present, no political affiliation has been announced by the Rashtra Manch.

Even so, political analysts have expressed the possibility of forming a third front in the future. Sources say that efforts are being made to make Mamata Banerjee the face of the third front. It is also being said that Sharad Pawar will play the role of the coordinator of the third front.

Election strategist Prashant Kishor’s meeting with Sharad Pawar for the second time in a week has sparked political discussions. In the first meeting, the two discussed for about 4 hours. After that, when the meeting was held again on June 11, many had raised their eyebrows. It is being said that a strategy is being devised to prevent BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the 2024 elections.

Meanwhile, it is learnt that Congress president Sonia Gandhi has also called a meeting of Congress general secretaries, state in-charges and state presidents on June 24.
