Pune,4th November 2025: To curb malpractices and prevent scams in the upcoming Teachers Eligibility Test (TET), the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Yuvati Congress has taken an initiative to organize a free online guidance camp for aspiring teachers across Maharashtra.

The sessions will be conducted between November 5 and November 20, informed Bhagyashree Vivek Thakare, State Programme Coordinator of the NCP Yuvati Congress, during a press conference. Also present were district vice president Mrinal Ovhal, Pune East city president Namrata Bondar, and city vice president Hema Randive.

Speaking about the initiative, Thakare said, “As per the directives of the Supreme Court, clearing the TET is mandatory to become a teacher. The Maharashtra State Council of Education will conduct the TET on November 23, followed by the TAIT exam on February 8, 2026. In the previous examinations, several candidates were duped by intermediaries. Even this year, some e-learning platforms are misleading students by charging exorbitant fees under the guise of coaching. This initiative is designed to raise awareness and empower candidates to prepare confidently and independently.”

The free, two-week online training programme is being organized under the guidance of NCP national president and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, State President and MP Sunil Tatkare, Youth Leader Parth Pawar, and NCP Mahila Congress President Adv. Sandhya Sonawane, and NCP Students’ Wing President Prashant Kadam.

Over 4.8 lakh candidates have registered for the TET across the state. To help them prepare effectively, subject experts will conduct online video seminars, while practice question papers and answer keys will also be made available free of cost.

“This initiative aims to build confidence among TET aspirants and help them avoid falling prey to middlemen,” Thakare added.
