Neha Narkhede From Pune Ranks 336 On IIFL Wealth Hurun India Rich List 2022
Pune, 23rd September 2022: Neha Narkhede, the Indian-American Co-Founder of Confluent, was ranked 336 on the IIFL Wealth Hurun India Rich List 2022 with an estimated wealth of Rs 4,700 crore. The 37-year-old is the youngest self-made woman entrepreneur to make it on the list.
Narkhede was born in Pune and acquired her Bachelor of Science in Engineering and Masters in Technology from Savitribai Phule Pune University (previously known as the University of Pune) and Georgia Tech respectively. She eventually moved to the United States of America (USA) to pursue a career in technology.
Along with her colleagues Jun Rao and Jay Kreps, Narkhede introduced Confluent in 2014. She started as the Chief Technology Officer at the company and then moved on to be the Chief Product Officer. Currently, she is on the Company’s Board. According to Forbes, the company was at a $9.1 billion valuation in 2021.
