New Kopre Village Gram Panchayat Takes Sanitation Drive Around NDA
Pune, 24 March 2021: Sarpanch, Gram Panchayat New Kopre, Deepali Baben Bhange, Deputy Sarpanch, Smt Manisha Tai More, Gram Sevak Santosh Gundle, Gram Panchayat Members – Pandurang More, Akash More, Santosh More and social activist Bhagwan More; and other villagers joined hands and initiated a collective cleanliness drive for intensive sanitization and cleanliness in and around their villages.
The proactive and wholehearted support of ZP Pune and the National Defence Academy (NDA) has given further impetus to this great initiative. The area adjacent to MES gate no. 10 of NDA which has been facing a long-standing problem due to rampant unauthorized dumping of garbage along the road was cleared on priority.
NDA officials while lauding the efforts of the New Kopre village and Smt Anita Tai Ingle of ZP, Pune, assured wholehearted support to this novel initiative as part of the ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’.
