New Delhi, 19th August 2021: In view of the increasing cases of Corona, the government of Himachal Pradesh has become alert. In the past months, a large number of people were reaching the tourist areas of Himachal Pradesh and were violating the corona restrictions.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also expressed concern about this matter. Now the Himachal Pradesh state government has taken a tough stand. Now to take entry in the state, apart from the Covid vaccine or negative report, it is also mandatory to register online.

In the order issued on Wednesday, it has been said that the monitoring of inter-state movement will be done through registration on the government’s Covid e-pass portal.

Ram Subhag Singh, chief secretary-cum-chairman of the state executive committee, said in the order, “All inter-state movement in the state will be monitored through registration on the Covid e-registration software of the Himachal Pradesh government.”

However, this condition will not be applicable to some services like goods vehicles. The order states that industrialists, traders, suppliers, factory workers, project supporters, service providers, government officials and people visiting the state on medical grounds will be exempted from this order.

Apart from this, a child below the age of 18 years travelling with his parent or guardian will also not need RT PCR negative report and vaccination certificate.
