Nihar Mayekar, Preeti Pai showcasing hamlets through different views

Pune, March 4, 2020 : Nihar Mayekar, an engineer by profession and also a singer, composer, and his wife Preeti Pai who is also an engineer and a lyricist as well, have been winning the hearts of people through their songs.
Nihar and Preeti released their first song that is ‘Hey Lambodar’ in 2019 and many different songs from the Times Music platform.
They released many other songs from different platforms which helped them gain a big fan family. The different songs released by them are ‘O Maa’, ‘Mere Watan’, ‘Khuli Hawa’, ‘Maharashtrachi Shaan’, ‘Vitthala’ and the recent song that is ‘O Priya’ a romantic song with some new concept of featuring the localities and children.
Speaking about the concept behind the romantic song ‘O Priya’ Nihar said, “Our motive was to show the lake of the village, it’s natural beauty, children playing around. Nowadays the concept of romantic songs is limited until the resorts and luxuries but this is about a village love story and the aspects which we have covered here are all similar.”
Speaking to Punekarnews.in, Preeti said, “Nihar wanted to shoot a love story which he wanted to be decent. So, we planned to shoot the song in the village. We wanted to showcase the rawness behind the love and the scenes must be so natural that it should not symbolize all that high rated regular romantic songs. Despite that, we have covered the village to show the same run race of the village”.
