Nine students of Suryadatta College of Hospitality Management selected for internship at top Mauritius Hotels
· It was a very proud moment for9 Students from SCHMTT (Suryadatta College of Hospitality Management & Travel, Tourism), of Batch 2015-2018, who were selected for their Internship in 3 different top Hotels in Mauritius properties, namely, Lux Hotel, Le Morne, Mauritius; Shangrila Hotel and Sinsimar Lagoon Hotel.
As per the Curriculum of Savitribai Phule Pune University, the students of SCHMTT, Pune have to undergo 5 months Internship. SCHMTT students undergo the Internship in prestigious hotels both in India and abroad.
“Our students have successfully cleared all the interviews and selection criteria for the Internship programme at Mauritius”, said Prof. Dr. Sanjay Chordiya, Chairperson, Suryadatta Group of Institutes.
Every year Suryadatta hotel Management student are selected by leading five & seven Star hotels of India & Abroad. Such as Germany – Hotel Rheinischer hof, Kuffler Hotel,Alte Linde, Rugard Strand Hotel, Saentis Hotel, Hotel Raitelberg, Hotel Raitelberg SINGAPORE-Hotel Tunglok Royal Queen, Tompopo Japanese Service Restaurant, Marriott, Tompopo Japanese Service Restaurant, Royal Queen, Park Royalee, Ritz Carlton, St. Regis, MALAYSIA -Pullman Hotel, Hilton, Royale Park, Equatorial, THAILAND-Orchidacea Resort, Suncity, Pataya and now MAURITIUS.

SCHMTT has a 100 % placement record since inception. “We are proud to say that our students hold good positions in hotels in India as well as abroad. This year the Batch of 2015 has had an excellent placement record. In India they have been placed in prestigious hotels, like The Oberoi Hotels, The Orchid Group, Raddisson, Hyatt and Westin, besides USA, Germany, Malaysia, Singapore, etc. at international hotels”, added Prof. Dr. Sanjay Chordiya.
Suryadatta always encourages students for such endeavors. This is an unique experience for these students. Such opportunities give students an edge over the others in their professional life and also encourage and motivate others.
Quite often students receive final job offers from the hotels they are training in during the internship period itself.
