New Delhi, 6th March 2025: Nissan Magnite Visia, the base variant of the compact SUV lineup, is priced at ₹6.14 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). With an on-road price of ₹7.06 lakh in Delhi, including RTO charges of ₹57,560 and insurance costs of ₹34,801, the model offers a budget-friendly entry into the SUV segment.

Buyers opting for a ₹2 lakh down payment can finance the remaining amount with an estimated EMI of ₹13,197 per month at a 9% interest rate over five years.

The Magnite Visia is powered by a 999 cc petrol engine delivering 71 bhp at 6250 rpm and 96 Nm torque between 3400-3600 rpm. It features a manual transmission and complies with BS VI 2.0 emission norms. The car offers a certified mileage of 19.4 km/l, making it an economical choice for daily commutes.

In terms of safety and convenience, the Visia variant is equipped with ISOFIX child seat mounts, ABS with EBD, dual airbags, reverse parking sensors, and an engine immobilizer.

Additional features include power steering, adjustable headlamps, roof rails, and child safety locks. The model is available in seven dual-tone color options such as Vivid Blue-Onyx Black and Pearl White-Onyx Black.

According to Ravi Sharma, an automobile expert based in Delhi, “The Magnite Visia offers excellent value for first-time SUV buyers with its competitive pricing and essential features.”

He added that its spacious interiors and high ground clearance of 205 mm make it suitable for city roads and occasional off-road drives.

The Magnite competes with models like Tata Punch Pure (₹6 lakh) and Renault Kiger RXE (₹6.10 lakh) in the same price range.

While it lacks advanced features like touchscreen infotainment or turbocharged engines found in higher variants or competitors, its affordability and practicality appeal to budget-conscious buyers.

For those seeking additional features such as rear wipers or defoggers, Nissan also offers mid-range variants like the Visia Plus priced at ₹6.62 lakh (ex-showroom). However, the base Visia remains a popular choice for its balance of cost-efficiency and functionality.
