No Water in These Pune Areas on July 23—Check the Full List
Pune, 20th July 2026: Water supply will remain completely suspended in several areas under the Vadgaonsheri and Chatushrungi water supply divisions on Thursday, July 23, due to pipeline and maintenance works being undertaken by the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC).
According to the civic body, the Bund Garden Water Supply Department will carry out the relocation of the World Bank main water pipeline at Bhakti-Shakti Chowk in Nigdi, within the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) limits. Simultaneously, electrical repair work and leakage rectification will be undertaken at the Holkar Water Treatment Plant.
As a result, water supply to the affected areas will remain completely shut on Thursday. PMC has also announced that water supply on Friday, July 24, will resume late and at low pressure in these localities.

Vadgaonsheri Water Supply Division:
Rukse Vasti, Ganesh Nagar (Bopkhel), Kalas Malwadi, Ambedkar Vasahat, parts of Vishrantwadi, Sanjay Park, Burma Shell area, Airport area, parts of Kharadi, Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Society, Ahilyanagar, Swa. Sainik Nagar, Hariganga Society, Sai Gram, Samaj Kalyan Hostel, Police Lines, Agney Bhavan, Shantinagar, Bharat Nagar, Katarwadi, Pratik Nagar, JBD Park, Vrindavan Society, Uttam Township, Mittal Society, Dream Society, Jadhav Nagar, Panchsheel Nagar, Shramik Nagar, Kamgar Nagar and Chandrama Nagar.
Chatushrungi Water Supply Division:
Khadki Cantonment Board area, Ammunition Factory Khadki, Mula Road area and Bhopate Colony.
The Pune Municipal Corporation has appealed to residents in the affected areas to store sufficient water in advance and cooperate with the civic administration during the maintenance work.
