No Water Supply In PCMC Areas Tomorrow, Thursday, And Friday

Pimpri, February 3, 2021: Water supply in Pimpri- Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) area will be disrupted on 4th and 5th February. The water supply system will be shut down temporarily for repairing work at a Pumping station in Ravet.

PCMC area gets its water supply from Pawana Dam. For this water is pumped up from a weir at Ravet. The water is purified at a plant in Sector 17 in Nigdi.

PCMC water supply department decided to undertake some repairing work at Ravet pumping station which includes electricity supply system maintenance and water supply pipeline work. Therefore the water supply systems in PCMC limit will be shut down on Thursday (4th February) in the evening and will remain suspended on Friday (5th February).

PCMC has appealed the citizens to take note of this change and use the water wisely.
