Now complete lockdown in Bhosari and Chikhali from tomorrow for three days
Pimpri, April 9, 2020: After Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) imposed complete lockdown in four areas after Coronavirus positive cases were found, now Bhosari MLA Mahesh Landge has appealed people to observe complete lockdown in Bhosari for three days. A similar appeal has been made by other organisations in Chikhali. Except for medical stores and hospital, other shops like Kirana, milk and vegetable will also remain closed.
MLA Landge appealed people to help the administration to tackle Coronavirus outbreak more effectively by observing complete lockdown on April 10, 11 and 12. He appealed people to not come out of their homes.
After Coronavirus positive patients were found in some areas, Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has decided to seal some areas in Chikhali, Thergaon, Kharalwadi and Dighi, from today.
According to officials, nobody from these areas will be allowed go outside and neither anyone from outside will be allowed to go there, except those engaged in essential services. Residents have been asked to wear mask or tie handkerchief around their face.
PCMC Municipal Commissioner Shravan Hardikar said that Corona infection has created a health emergency in the city. Considering the number of affected patients in the city, it is necessary to limit the movement of citizens in some areas. Therefore, four parts of the city are being sealed until further orders.
These areas in Pimpri Chinchwad to be sealed :
– Gharkul, Chikhali: Building A-1 to 20. Pawar Industrial premises, Nevale vasti.
– Jama Masjid, Kharalwadi, Pimpri: Girme Hospital – Agrasen Library – Krishna Traders – Chatali Park Society – Kharal Aai Garden – Om Hospital – Oriental Bank – City Pride Hotel – Crystal Court Hotel.
– Kamalraj Balaji Residency, Rode Hospital, Dighi: MVS Computer – Sai Temple – Anushka Optical – Rode Hospital.
– Shivatirthanagar, Padwalnagar, Thergaon: Shirole Clinic – Ganesh Temple – Nidaan Clinic – Kirti Medical – Rahmania Mosque – Orchid Hospital – Ashoka Society.
