Now Essential Shops In Pune To Remain Open On Weekends Also

Pune, 28th May 2021: As there is a continuous drop in the number of Coronavirus disease (COVID19) cases in the city, Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has taken a decision to allow essential shops to remain open on all days between 7 am to 11. This order will be implemented from May 29, Saturday.
Essential shops include grocery stores, vegetable and fruit vendors, mutton, chicken, egg and fish shops, bakeries, and sweet shops. At present they are allowed to open from 7 am to 11 am on weekdays only. Now, they will be allowed to open on Saturday and Sunday also between 7 am to 11 am
Shops related to agricultural implements and farm produce, pet food shops, shops related to materials for the impending rainy season and optical shops will also remain open, states an order issued by PMC Commissioner Vikram Kumar.
Essential Shops in #Pune can now remain open weekends.
