Pune, 14 April 2021: Savitribai Phule Pune University (SSPU) has now come up with a new scheme. Those who could not complete their degree for various reasons can do so. Recently, during the academic council meeting, the members decided to give one chance to complete the incomplete degree course.
In several instances, due to various financial and family reasons, many had to leave their higher education in the middle. When they feel to complete their education, the syllabus of the course they are pursuing changes. This restricts them to complete their incomplete course.
But now SPPU has decided that such candidates who had left their courses in the middle before the academic year 2016-17 now can re-appear for the courses albeit with a new syllabus.
Examination and evaluation board director Mahesh Kakade said, “The academic council has decided to bring the curriculum pattern before the year 2016-17 in coordination with the current syllabus. This will help the students to appear for the examination according to the new pattern.”
Multiple entry-multiple exit
Kakade said, “The new education policy has ‘multiple entry and multiple exit’. Under this policy, the former students now can complete their incomplete degree or postgraduate courses.”
