OLA Unveils Cruiser: Electrifying Style, Features, and Competitive Spirit.

30th November 2023: OLA is on the verge of introducing a new electric bike in the Indian market, named OLA Cruiser. This in-house creation by Ola was showcased at the company’s factory, hinting at its imminent arrival after the OLA S1 PRO. The OLA Cruiser, along with four other bikes – Diamondhead, Adventure, Cruiser, and Roadster – was introduced in foreign markets on August 15, 2023. Ola plans to equip these bikes with a comprehensive set of features, intending to launch them in India soon. Although the official launch date for the Cruiser hasn’t been disclosed by OLA, experts anticipate its introduction in 2024.

Highlighting the features of the OLA Cruiser, riders can expect a full 3-4 inch electric display, tail headlamp, smartphone connectivity, call alerts, SMS alerts, a single seat, distinctive handlebars, a stubby front look, DRL, and a visible chain despite being an electric bike. Ola has adopted a new generation style for the Cruiser, emphasizing a blend of innovation and aesthetics. While OLA is yet to reveal the pricing details, industry experts estimate the OLA Cruiser to be priced around Rs 2 lakh 70 thousand on-road. Initially, the bike will be available in a single color variant in the Indian market, with further information to be provided upon its official launch.

Powering the OLA Cruiser is the W-MOTOR accompanied by a heavy battery for ample electric power. The bike features a dual suspension system – an upside-down single monoshock fork suspension at the front and a rear single monoshock suspension. Braking is facilitated by disc brakes on both wheels, complemented by alloy wheels for enhanced braking performance. Additionally, tubeless fat tires contribute to the bike’s stability and grip.

Examining the design of the OLA Cruiser reveals a striking and sporty appearance, reminiscent of a racing bike. The bike stands out with its unique charging point at the top, replacing the conventional tank, designed in a distinctive and daring style by OLA. The OLA Cruiser is available in three mixed colors: White, Black, and Light Grey, positioning itself in competition with bikes like the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 in the Indian market.
