One Killed, Many Injured in Pune-Solapur Highway Collision, Traffic Disrupted
Daund, 25th December 2024: A series of accidents continue in Pune, with a luxury bus and truck involved in a fatal collision on the Pune-Solapur Highway, resulting in one death. The bus, heading towards Pune, rear-ended the truck near Visava Dhaba in Daund.
Between 15 and 20 people were injured in the incident. The injured were rushed to a hospital in Bhigwan village. The accident caused significant traffic congestion on the Pune-Solapur Highway.
The exact cause of the accident is unclear, but the police suspect that speeding may have contributed to the collision.
