One laborer killed, 3 injured as crane crashes in Hinjawadi
Pune – In yet another incident of poor planning at construction sites, a labourer was killed and three others were injured after a crane collapsed at the site of under-construction building of EON Homes in Phase III of Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park in Hinjawadi.
The incident took place around 1.30 pm on Saturday. Pune police have booked the contractor Dhirendra Chaudhary after the incident.
Police officials said that the crane had developed a snag when it was being elevated at the under-construction site and collapsed.
Four injured labourers were taken to a nearby hospital where one of them succumbed to the injuries.
