Online Travel Company udChalo Introduces Cash-On-Delivery Service for Senior Citizens in Pune
Pune, 10th December 2023: udChalo, a recipient of the National Startup Award and a prominent online travel company, has unveiled a groundbreaking ‘Cash-on-Delivery’ (COD) service for travel bookings tailored to senior citizens and individuals less adept with technology in Pune.
This pioneering initiative within the Online Travel Agency (OTA) realm in Pune seeks to streamline travel planning and payment procedures for senior citizens, providing a more user-friendly and secure approach to booking travel. Notably, udChalo has recently extended its services to non-defence personnel.
The COD service is applicable to all travel bookings made through the udChalo website and mobile app, encompassing flights and vacation packages. Senior citizens in Pune can now opt for the COD option during checkout and settle their payments in cash upon the delivery of their tickets at their doorstep. This eliminates the necessity for online payments or the use of debit/credit cards, presenting a more familiar, secure, and comfortable payment method for many senior citizens. Additionally, the service will be overseen by army veterans, as the company actively seeks to employ ex-defence personnel PAN India, contributing to the reemployment of retired army veterans.
