New Delhi, 21st June 2021: Opposition parties are tightening their belts ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Prashant Kishor, who had announced not to work as a strategist after the West Bengal assembly elections, once again met National Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar on Monday.

Pawar held a meeting with Prashant Kishor in Delhi. This is the second meeting of the two within the last 15 days, after which political speculation has intensified again. It is being said in political circles that in the next Lok Sabha elections, the opposition parties can field a common candidate against PM Modi in the next elections. That is why the meeting of the NCP chief with Prashant Kishor is being considered important.

Earlier on June 11, Prashant Kishor met Sharad Pawar at his Mumbai residence. In fact, the meeting of both is also being seen as a preparation for the general elections to be held in 2024. It is believed that discussions are taking place in Delhi and different states to bring anti-BJP parties on one platform.

Although the last meeting lasted for 3 hours, no statement was issued even after this, after which speculation started that this meeting took place as part of the exercise of forming a grand alliance in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections under the leadership of Pawar. However, Pawar’s office had called it a courtesy call.

Prashant Kishor has till now worked as an election strategist for Narendra Modi, Jagan Mohan Reddy, Captain Amarinder Singh, Mamata Banerjee and Uddhav Thackeray.
