Opt for MSEDCL’s Go Green Facility and Get Rs 120 Instant Discount on Electricity Bills
Mumbai, 31st December 2024 – Mahavitaran (Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited) has offered a one-time discount of Rs 120 on electricity bill immediately after opting for the Go Green Facility as a New Year gift.
Go-Green Facility is being implemented by Mahavitaran as per the concept of ‘Save Paper, Save Environment’. Accordingly, under this scheme, consumers are given a discount of Rs 10 in the monthly electricity bill. But now, in the first bill, they will get an immediate discount of Rs 120 for the next twelve months.
Every month consumers opting for Go Green Facility are sent electricity bill by e-mail instead of printed paper bill by Mahavitran. They are given a discount of Rs 10 on their monthly electricity bill.
Mahavitran has taken this important decision for Go Green consumers. Now they will be given a lump sum discount of Rs 120 on electricity bill in the first month instead of every month.
Out of 3 crore LT consmers, only 4 lakh 62 thousand i.e. 1.15% consumers have opted for Go Green Facility so far. In order to increase the numbers in future, Mahavitran has decided to give a one-time discount of Rs 120 in the electricity bill who opted for the Go Green.
Mahavitaran will send SMS to its registered consumers urging to opt for the Go Green Facility. After choosing the option of Go Green service, a lump sum discount of Rs. 120 will be given in the electricity bill immediately.
Thereafter, electricity bill will be sent to the registered e-mail and until cancellation of registration for the service. If consumer continues for the next year, a monthly discount of Rs 10 will be given in the following electricity bills. Mahavitran has appealed to the consumers to take advantage of this scheme.
