Over 5 Crore COVID Vaccine Doses Administered In Maharashtra

Pune, 17th August 2021: After a brief lull in vaccination against Coronavirus disease (COVID19), it has gained momentum once again.
On Monday, a total of 83,575 doses were administered to people in the Pune district which includes 60,401 first dose and 23,174 second dose. Till now, 69.91 lakh doses have been given to people in the Pune district including 51.82 lakh first dose and 18.08 lakh second dose.
Across Maharashtra, a total of 6.33 lakh doses were given to people on Monday which includes 4.33 lakh first dose and 1.99 lakh second dose. Till now, over five crore doses have been given including 3.69 crore first dose and 1.3 crore second dose.
