Most of these are tarred, paved, or paver block roads that run through the village or connect communities,” he noted. The district administration has put up a mechanism to monitor the entire process of rural infrastructure construction in real time. Local leaders from other communities were also involved in securing the site and removing any obstacles that could obstruct the process.

In the previous fiscal year, almost 18,000 works of 78 different categories, including the construction of roads, buildings, bus stops, and schools, were sanctioned in Pune rural.
