Over 70 players under 17 boys and girls Pune District Selection Chess Tournament
Pune, April 4, 2023: Over 70 boys and girls players will be seen in action in the under 17 Pune District Selection Chess Tournament to be organized by Pune District Chess Circle and played at Ganesh Sabhagruh, Karve road from 6th to 7th April 2023.
Tournament Coordinator Mr.Prakash Kunte informed that The tournament will be held under the auspices of MCA.
The event will be played under Swiss league format. Prominent players who have confirmed their entries for the event include top seeded Vihaan Dawda (1512), Prathamesh Sherla(1463), Arnav Kadam(1448) in the boys event, while in the girls event Aditi Kayal(1577), Nihira Kaul (1259), Rajeshwari Deshmukh(1235).
Seven players from boys category and five players from girls category will be selected to represent Pune District n the Maharashtra State Under 17 Age Boys & Girls Selection Chess Tournament to be held at Buldhana , Maharashtra from 14th April 2023 to 16th April 2023.
The tournament will be inaugurated at the hands of Mr.Ashwin Trimal, VP of PDCC and Director of Truespace on Thursday, 6th April 2023 at 9.30am.
