Owner Files Complaint Against Caretaker Over Dog’s Death
Pune, September 22, 2020: An owner from Lonavala has filed a complaint against the caretaker over the death of a six-year-old pet dog. The complaint has been filed in Lonavala police station on September 17.
Ayesha Vashi, an actor who lives in Mumbai has a bungalow in Lonavala which is been taken care by a care-taker Ram Andre for the death of one of the two dogs. In her complaint, Ayesha alleged that the dog was killed due to negligence.
She mentioned in the complaint the post-mortem revealed that the dog died of asphyxiation as against Ram’s claim of dying of drowning in the well. While suspecting the cause of the death Ayesha alleged filed a complaint under Indian Penal Code (IPC) section 429 (mischief by killing or maiming cattle, etc). Police inspector Manojkumar Yadav has been investigating the case.
