*P. N. Gadgil and Sons unveil exclusive artistic packaging for ornaments*

Pune, October 15: City based P. N. Gadgil and Sons, one of the most trusted Jewellery Houses of the state is all set to present a unique blend of art and jewellery by introducing special, innovative and one of its kind packaging for ornaments. Ajit Gadgil and Abhay Gadgil, Partners of P. N. Gadgil & Sons unveiled this special packaging that would have legendary artist Raja Ravi Varma’s paintings on it during the Press Conference held in the city today.

Speaking on the occasion Ajit Gadgil said, “Jewellery and Art go hand in hand. We wanted to add value to our traditionally rich craftsmanship in jewellery by presenting it in a unique way and thus the idea to create a special packaging that would have a feel of exemplary art was conceived. We at P. N. Gadgil and Sons unanimously narrowed down on legendary Raja Ravi Varma’s all time great work.“

“This is probably the first such an attempt in the country where great craftsmanship in jewellery is tied up with classic art work. This exclusive packaging has been elegantly designed by Manoj Phulambrikar – owner of Wisdom Tree, an advertising agency in Pune. So, now when you come to our showroom to buy Jewellery, it will come in a very exclusive packaging made with the use of Raja Ravi Varma’s paintings.” he added.

“This is first of the series and in future we would be introducing other eminent artists through our packaging. We also wish to exhibit litho paintings by Raja Ravi Varma and few other legendary artists through our art galleries very soon.” Informed Nandu Deole.

Commenting on the expansion plans Abhay Gadgil said, “We wish to continue expansion of our retail chain. We presently have 13 showrooms, of which 12 are in Maharashtra and we recently opened one showroom at Gulbarga in
Karnataka. We plan to add 2-3 more showrooms in the current financial year. We are also planning to foray in Gujarat this year.”

“Considering the huge response from our customers in the vicinity of Satara Road, we are moving to bigger and better showroom on main Satara Road. The decision to move from the existing Satara Road showroom to the new big showroom was primarily taken to facilitate customer convenience”, he added.

This new spacious 9000 plus sq ft showroom is located on the main Satara road in Mudra Building, opposite Walvekar Lawns and would have ample parking for customers. This new big size showroom will not only enable
customers to choose from the large variety of designs but will also enhance their overall shopping experience due to its ambiance. The showroom will be formally inaugurated on 19th October.
