Pune, 27 November 2024: After a photo of Naresh Arora with his hand on Ajit Pawar’s shoulder surfaced, NCP MLA Amol Mitkari criticized the party, sparking a controversy. Responding to this, Ajit Pawar’s son, Parth Pawar, expressed strong disapproval of Mitkari’s statements and urged him to refrain from making such comments.

Parth Pawar stated, “It is unfortunate that MLA Amol Mitkari, despite being a party member, has chosen to adopt an anti-party stance. My party and its national president, Ajit Pawar, do not support or agree with Mitkari’s views. I urge him to avoid making such remarks or responding to the media in this manner.”

What is the issue?
Amol Mitkari raised questions about Naresh Arora after a photo showed him with his hand on Ajit Pawar’s shoulder. Mitkari alleged that content on NCP’s official Twitter handle was provided by Naresh Arora. He further criticized Arora, stating, “Party workers and office bearers are sidelined. If you take credit for success, remember even Devendra Fadnavis has multiple PR agencies, but none dared to act this way.”

Mitkari described Arora’s action as disrespectful to party workers and demanded an apology. He also deleted his earlier tweets on the issue, reportedly under pressure from colleagues.
