Passengers Demand Changing Name Of Pune Metro’s ‘Bhosari’ Station
Bhosari, 15th March 2022: Passengers from Pimpri-Chinchwad city, who travel in Pune Metro are demanding to rename the Bhosari metro station, as the station area is at Nashik Phata and it is 5 km away from the Bhosari area.
On March 6th, the Pimpri-Phugewadi metro railway stretch was inaugurated. However, due to the Bhosari station, the passengers get confused as the actual area is 5 in away from the metro station. As the distance is far the passengers have to go there either by bus or autorickshaw. The Metro station area is originally known as Nashik Phata. Therefore, citizens are demanding to change the name of this metro station.
