Passengers Made To Sit In Aircraft For 4 Hours At Pune Airport As Go First Flight Delayed

Pune, 15th May 2022: The passengers of the Bengaluru-bound flight of Go First (G8 284) had a harrowing experience at Pune airport last night. They were made to sit in the aircraft for about four hours.

The flight was scheduled to depart at 10.50 pm on May 14 but it actually departed at 3.24 am on May 15. There was a delay of 4.21 hours.

One of the passengers, William Andrew tweeted, “Go First Air from Pune to Bangalore didn’t take off due to engine technical issue, we were made to sit 3hrs inside aircraft and told that alternate flight arranged, but now no commun, mess is getting created in Pune airport.”

Another passenger Pratim Bhosale tweeted, “Our flight was supposed to fly at 10.50pm Have been stuck on the Pune airport for more than 4 hours now. This is the current situation. There is no senior available to give us an estimate about what’s next.”

 

Tagging the civil aviation minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, she added, “@JM_Scindia Sir there are more than 100 people here. And the @GoFirstairways crew still hasn’t given us any clarity about what’s next.”

An airline official said, “After the passengers had boarded the flight, the pilot reported a technical issue. There were checks going on and hence the delay.”
